Paul Wesley (aka Pawel Tomasz Wesley) An award-winning actor, producer and director of films most well-known for his work on the television show The Vampire Diaries. His work on the series has garnered him several distinctions, awards, and nominations. They include those of the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley, who was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and raised in America, United States, showed interest in acting as a child during his college days. He then enrolled in Rutgers University. However when he realised his immense potential and knew that he would be able to make a profession out the extraordinary talents of his actors, the actor dropped out. His first appearance on TV was on the popular American TV soap opera Another World. The CBS Network aired 'Wolf Lake in the year following his first TV appearance. After he took on the character of Stefan Salvatore for the American television show The Vampire Diaries, his career was transformed. He directed several episodes in the series in addition. He has been featured in numerous popular films since his first film, The Last Run. Recently, he starred as a character in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as well as supporting roles. He's also popular in social media with more than 13 million Instagram fans and over 4.1 million Twitter followers.
