Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk who was an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor'sworkshop held located in Los Angeles. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she got the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good news that she had become pregnant on the set of Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! voted it the top couple on TV for the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
