Gale was then 18 and had won an 18-year-old Perth model contest in the year she was 18. After many years of modeling, Gale rose to fame as she was selected for a role in a set of ads for the Italian telecommunications company, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) She was part of the company's advertising until 2006.She was also hired to the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as 'their face of Australia as they travelled to Italy'. Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in the editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has been a model for Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere Genny And Gai Mattiolo and also during the show runways for Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. [9] Gale has also been a big fan of numerous Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. Also, she was one of the fashion experts for the Logies award, which is which is an Australian television show. Gale announced in January 2008 her decision to retire in fashion after fifteen productive years. In the following weeks on, during the unveiling of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for the final time on the catwalk. The model wore the Wonder Woman costume she had been planning to wear in the Justice League of America film and was in the process of being developed.
